I am so sorry to hear of your loss. John was my Godfather and even though I really did not know him, I do remember him from when I was a child. My mother has old movies of John holding me as a baby from 1960. My thoughts and prayers to the family.

I was saddened to learn of John's death. I knew him and his family when we were teenagers. He became a good family friend to my mother and siblings and was god-father to my niece, Donna. He was a special man.

Dear Marge and family, I was saddened to hear of John's passing. I grew up across the street from The McGinn family and John's mother would sometimes babysit my brother Steve and I. Although John was a few years older, he was always quick with a smile and a kind word whenever we would see one another on the street. It has been far too many years since we last met but I will always remember John as a stand-up guy and someone I was privileged to know. You have my deepest sympathy, Chuck Lomis.
