LAWRENCE "LARRY" G, Jr., of Lima, PA, on January 6, 2012. Husband of Helene (nee Carlson) Weathers. Father of Kathryn Haas, Lawrence III, Stephen, Christopher and Dolores Rose. Also survived by 12 grandchildren. Memorial Mass Saturday 12:00 Noon at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd. Media, PA. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 9:00 P.M. at the RIGBY HARTING & HAGAN FUNERAL HOME, 15 E. Fourth St. Media, PA. and again Saturday morning at St. Mary Magdalen Church from 9:00 till 11:30 AM. Contribu-tions in his memory may be made to Drexel Neumann Academy, 1901 Potter Street, Chester, PA. 19013 or to St. James Alumni Assoc. Scholar-ship Fund, 1499 E. Ninth St. Eddystone, PA. 19022. Burial Private.

We just heard the news of his death, because we have been in Florida since the beginning of January. We bought our van at Weathers, and we always appreciated the kindness of everyone, which so reflected Mr. Weathers. We are sorry for your loss and know that he will be sorely missed. You and your family, as well as the Weathers Motors family, will be in our thoughts and prayers. Take care!

Larry was my friend and boss for 45 years. He treated me like a brother and I felt a part of the family. I'll never forget the times we shared both at work and at family functions. My heartfelt sympathy to all of Larry's family.

There is a place in Middletown and in many of our hearts that will be very empty with Larry's passing. I will always remember his smile, even when he was upset at things, I could get a smile out of him. Larry was a rare gem and he will be missed. Love Prayers and sympathy to his family. If I feel blessed for knowing him for a short time, then you have been guided with Gods grace to have been part of his life.

Helene, Christopher and Dolores,
I'm so sad to hear of Larry's passing. He was a great guy with a heart as big as all outdoors. He was a humble plain-spoken man who did much for his community with no expectation (or desire) for praise or glory.
I will miss is forthright, tell-it-like-it-is manner which was based on his ever steady moral compass.

i know larry through weather motors. all
