SCULLY Margaret Mary With heavy hearts, we share the news of the passing of Margaret Mary ("Marge") Kropp Scully, daughter of the late Helen and Walter Kropp of Philadelphia, PA, died on October 16, 2022 at the age of 84. Marge was a former resident of Villanova, PA. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she attended Mount St. Joseph Academy and Immaculata University and later met her husband, Brian. Their life took them to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Rhode Island, Michigan and settling in Pennsylvania. Together they loved traveling, river cruises, the Philly Pops and garden tours. Marge had a love for cooking and singing around their player piano. She was active in the garden club, mentoring children at St. Rita's and knitting baby blankets for Butterfly Blessings. After a career as a certified dietitian, she took a break to raise her children and eventually managed L'epicure and Talbot's of Haverford where she retired. Most of all, she enjoyed her grandchildren and new friends at Shannondell, Audubon, PA. Villanova basketball lost their biggest cheerleader. Always with a joke and quick to make friends, Marge had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Brian, her children Kathleen Weinstock (Jim), Ann Malcolm (Rod), Chip Scully (Janice) and her grandchildren, Will, Jimmy and Molly Weinstock, Katie and Scotty Malcolm and Lucas Scully. There will be a Celebration of Marge's Life beginning at 9:30 A.M. at St. Thomas of Villanova Church Chapel on the campus of Villanova University, 800 E. Lancaster Avenue, Villanova, PA followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. on October 28, 2022. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to support glioblastoma research in the Neuro-Oncology Department at The University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center, P. O.
