God bless her and her family. She was a great and unforgettable teacher (I was in her 7th grade class back in 1988). We will pray for her out here in Colorado, where my family and I reside.

We are so sorry to miss our dear friend's funeral mass as we are in California for our granddaughter's college graduation . Meg did so much for so many. If you had a problem, Meg would be there to find a solution . She worked very hard to make her friends happy, and was so full of appreciation if you did the littlest thing for her. Our entire family will miss her and are grateful to have had her as part of our lives.

"Auntie" Meg was a brilliant teacher, loving mentor and most recently a friend. Her love for all her students was so evident. Even through her own ailments, she always sought ways to help others. I cannot begin to count the number of times Meg has served as a support--whether academically or personally-- for my family. The world has lost a wonderful woman, but heaven has truly gained an angel. Meg's family will remain in my thoughts and prayers.

On behalf of myself, my husband and our three grown children, Marianne, Charley III and Katie, I extend heartfelt condolences to the Walters family as well as her Rosemont School of the Holy Child family.
It was always a pleasure to be around Meg.
She was wonderful with her students, added her magic touch to the Nativity tableaus at the Christmas concerts and helped me personally with some costume needs. Always pleasant and caring no matter what the challenges, her smile lit up any room.

May God bless all of you with His comfort at this time. We will miss Meg.

Meg was a gift to so many students and parents in her life. She was a wonderful and natural child advocate. She believed that every child could reach their full potential with the love and support of the parents and school.
Her enthusiasm to get to work and solve problems was contagious. Her smile and a warm hug could make you believe that everything was going to be okay no matter how big or small the challenge. She was always "with you" when addressing any needs at school. She became part of the solution and never part of the problem when she was approached to help. Our children and we were blessed to have Meg in their lives. I will miss her wonderful smile. We were blessed to call her a friend.

There is no teacher that I have had in all of my years of schooling better than Ms. Walters. Her incredible ability to take the most devoted personal interest in each and every one of her students in unmatched and truly unique. The world has lost an amazing woman and incredibly brilliant educator, mentor, and friend, but heaven has gained one of the most brightly shining angels. She will be forever missed, and I will cherish all memories of her fondly.

I met Meg years ago when she came to my store (Pun's Toy Shop) to generously "spoil" her many nieces and nephews. Her warmth and kindness led my entire staff, including my wife Terry, son Joe and Brigitte to appreciate and enjoy her company in her many trips to Pun's . Generous is only the top of the list of amazing qualities she shared with all who knew her. Finally, you will have peace. You will be deeply missed, my friend.
