On March 24, 2017, age 77. Father of Bethann (Thomas) Dooner, Michael (Jennifer) O'Connell, Kathleen (Charles) Davis and Theresa (Charles) Pierson; brother of Edward (Suzanne) O'Connell; also survived by 15 grandchildren, niece and nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation on Thursday, beginning at 9:30 A.M., Our Lady of Calvary Church, 11024 Knights Rd., Phila. PA 19154, followed by 10:30 A.M. Funeral Mass. Interment private.

Erin, Caitlin, Megan, Michael, Cullen, Jack & Cecelie O'Connell...Lauren, Ryan & Shannon Davis...and CJ and Hayley Pierson, although not named in the obituary, respectfully mourn the loss of their Grandpop and thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

A father-in law,a good friend, and a wonderful grandpop to my kids...that was Mike O'Connell to me. Through many adversities in his life
he still loved all his family to the end.
May he rest in peace...he has good company waiting for him, as they look upon us daily.
