PETER N. JR., ESQ. Suddenly July 11, 2011, age 42. Beloved son of Bernadette (nee Tartaglia) and the late Peter Sr. Devoted husband of Amy, Esq. (nee Vasquez). Loving father of Marcella Fiorentino. Brother of Chris (Tracy) Fiorentino. Son-in-law of Don and Pat Vasquez. Also survived by many loving family, friends and colleagues. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing Thursday eve. 6 to 9 P.M. and Friday morn. 9 to 10 A.M. from PENNSYLVANIA BURIAL CO., INC., 1327-29 S. Broad St. (ample parking on premises). Funeral Mass will follow viewing on Friday 10:30 A.M. St. Mary Magdalen DePazzi Church, 8th and Montrose Sts., Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cem. In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to "Marcella Fiorentino" (Education Fund), PO Box 699, Burlington, NJ 08016.

i am so sorry to hear of your loss of such a good man , we went to neuhman high school back in philadelphia, i just found out through a mutual friend of petes passing, i was born n raised in south philly n moved to vegas in 95, when i heard i got the chills , mind mind was racing for memories and suddenly a thought popped in my head , every morning in high school when i seen pete , he would say hey zang..........god bless you all

I met Pete in law school and both my husband and I considered him a dear friend ever since. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Pete's entire family.

How do you console yourself when a bosom friend, trusted colleague, confidant and mentor with a heart as big and generous as yours is taken right after we break bread together? What do you say to family, friends and your widow and three year old daughter? Death has never struck me so painfully nor so mercilessly. I loved you and yours, as they renewed my South
Philly Italian roots I had so cherished in my own family. Know that I will be here for those you have left. I had hoped to tour your city with you, see you through many successful political campaigns, but God had other plans. I know you were received with love by your father and all those loving relatives you lost in the 1990s. Rest in peace my beloved!

I am so sorry to hear of Pete's untimely death. I met Pete while working in City Council. He was a wonderful colleague and friend and will be greatly missed.

I remember Pete from his days as a City Council staff member and a member of the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee. He was a friendly, positive man never afraid to share his honest opinions. He will be deeply missed.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Pete's death. I worked in Burlington as a per diem attorney for OPR, and I saw Pete frequently in court. I truly enjoyed those occasions when we joined together against DYFS. His knowledge of the law, his passion for his clients made him a formidable ally. I will miss him, his sense of humor, his humanity. The world is a poorer place today. My deepest condolences to his family.

I have a lot of fond memories of Pete growing up (I'm originally from Annin Street) - he was a such a great guy and will be missed!

I was a classmate of Pete's at Annunciation and was terribly shocked and saddened to hear this news. We recently reconnected on facebook and I always smiled at his pictures of his Marcy Pie! He was a devoted dad and husband and I was also proud of his professional accomplishments as well. My sincere condolences go out to his family.

To Bernadette,so sorry to hear about your son I remember he was such a nice kid growing up so respectful being involved with Politics he looked like he enjoyed it I never knew he was your son until one day my son John told me he would play games with the kids get involved he said how nice he was he told me he seen you out shopping not so long ago and asked how Peter was he was absolutely stunned when Icalled him after reading about your son I'M TALKING ABOUT 'Eggroll' sorry for your loss Bern

To my Aunt Bernadette, Amy and Marcy, my heart breaks for you. I am so saddened by the loss of Peter. Marcy lost a wonderful father. Amy you lost a great friend and husband. Aunt Ben, there isnt enough room on this guest book to write down all of the memories we have with Peter. Our family has lost such a big piece losing him. My heart just aches for you. Your nieces and nephews will do our best to help you through this. As our family has had to learn too many times in our life the memories will keep our love alive. We will keep his hearty laugh and love of family going. He will be greatly missed.

Wow, I'm shocked and saddened! I hung out with Pete and our fathers were good friends back-in-the-day. My sincere condolences to Pete's family, especially his wife and beautiful daughter! Gone too soon!
