RYAN DE WITT Obituary
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, June 12th, 6-8 P.M. at KAIN-MURPHY FUNERAL SERVICES, 15 West End Ave. Haddonfield, NJ. All are invited to Ryan's Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday June 13th, 10 A.M., at Christ the King R.C. Church, 200 Windsor Ave. Haddonfield, NJ. Inter-ment Haddonfield Baptist Cem. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Ryan's name be made to Cape May Bird Observatory, 600 N Rt. 47, Cape May Court House 08210.

I met ryan when i was 23 in my home town of laguna beach, at a good friends birthday party. For 10 years i loved and had a on and off relationship with ryan. he was never dewitt to me, he was always ryan. he died days after my birthday. when i got the call i went into shock and even now almost 2 years later i think of him daily. i miss him daily . he was one of the loves of my life and its still hard. i really loved him.

Mr & Mrs De Witt, Andrew, and Greg, Sending the same love to your family as Ryan did for myself and all the people he crossed paths with. His tireless positive energy and benchmark laugh endure. Ryan remained a consistent thread throughout my life since 1993 when we met at SubZero skate shop in Cherry Hill, proceeding in a rather parallel fashion to the west coast and eventually in Brooklyn where we worked together on many projects. He would reach out when he caught wind of something good or bad. It didn't matter - he cared. He is responsible for cultivating and nurturing a real grass roots layer across the entire skateboard community for both men and women. An accomplishment we are proud of. A world class human.
