Sarah Running Obituary
SARAH K., age 52, of Fleetwood, PA., died Friday, November 21, 2008 in her residence. Wife of Timothy Running. For over ten years Sarah sang professionally as a member of the core ensemble with The Philadelphia Singers. In this capacity, Sarah was often featured as a soprano soloist, including the compact disc live recording entitled "The Best of Christmas on Logan Square" with The Philadelphia Singers, David Hayes, Music Director. On December 15, 2002 Sarah sang as the soprano soloist with The Philadelphia Orchestra in a performance of Handel's Messiah in the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 29th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 117 East Arch St., Fleetwood. Contributions can be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Arr. by The MAE A. Today I received my St. Olaf Magazine and was saddened at the news of Sarah's passing. She and I were college friends and roomed together on the St. Olaf Choir tour our senior year. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers as I reflect upon the many marvelous memories I have of Sarah. She was a beauty inside and out and she will be missed.

May you be at rest with God. We will miss you dearly. You inspired all of us and were so wonderful in always welcoming "the gang" of girls to your house for many years. My sincerest condolences to Mr. Running, Kate, Micah, and the rest of your family-may they find comfort in your memory and in God.
