GROVE
SHANNON, age 19, of Phila passed away suddenly on March 22, 2009. Beloved daughter of Susan Grove (nee Kapalka) and Edward. Loving sister of Edward J. Grove. Dear granddaughter of Marian Grove and her late husband Howard and the late Edward and Helen "Josie" Kapalka. Also surviving is Susan's dear friend Rose Kiesling and Helen "Gram" Kiesling. Relatives, friends and Shannon's classmates from The Excel Academy are invited to share in her Life Celebration Saturday starting 8:30 A.M. and to participate in her service at 12:00 Noon from JOHN F. GIVNISH OF ACADEMY RD., 10975 Academy Rd., Phila. 19154. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Shannon's memory to Gift of Life Donor Program 401 N 3rd St, Philadelphia, PA 19123.

What was shannon to me?U may ask this ,but to me she was one of tthe funniest nd awsomest person u could ever possably meet!!i miss her so much, and every time I look into a pair of blue eyes, on anyone i think of her and im overwelmed with joy.I knew shannon for nine years and even though shes up their with god ,jesus ,and the rest of my family i will always remember her as my good friend/cusin. will always love u shanon!!!a.k.a moo moo= ] <33.

I will always miss you Shannon. For the past 5 years, you only brought light in my life. I'll never forget how you always had an answer for everything and how you always knew how to bring a smile to my face. Now that you're gone, its so hard to smile and its hard to keep moving foreward knowing you aren't with us anymore, but we all know you are in a better place looking down on us. You are constantly on my mind. I wake up everymorning thinking of you and hoping that you are happy where you are. I know that the first thing I will do when I see you again in heaven is the Shannon Dance, just to show you that you never left our hearts. I love you Shannon and I miss you like crazy chica.

shannon u will never be for gotten ,,i have so many good memories of you.. i remember all the good times i have with you and kim and milton on the porche,, yous made be go crazy the way yous acts, but i love every bit of it,, you always made me laugh. we had so many good times.. we will meet again. then u can pick on me again lol. u will always be my baby girl.. i love and miss u so much. i can still hear u saying aunt dot and i would say what and u would just laugh. u are my angel now. i remember when we were throwing everyone in the pool in when it was ur time u would run in the house but we got u lol and then u wouldent get out of the pool. we had so much fun. love aunt dotxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

i will always miss you shannon i will not never forget you i have alot of memories of shannon she always made me smile and laugh she was a good friend to me we all use to hang out at my house at one time just talking about dumb things and watching movies together and just picking on aunt dot shannon loved her and me . i still cant beileve she is not here its hard to beileve to that but she is in the better place right now shes in heaven ..i was one of them that was at the hospital with shannon i even the speed a nite over with her just holding her hands and just looking at her and praying she was a sweet person and so young but i promise you shannon we will meet up again someday .. love always ur best friend kim rest in peace we all love you and miss you 0x0x

Hey. I really don't know what to say. I never in a million years would've thought that the next person I would know to pass would be Shannon. I also never would've thought that I would find a friend like her. But I did, and though we didn't see each other as much as we should have in recent years, I know that we were still friends.

Wherever Shannon is, she's more than likely the life of the Party.

Ever since the day I met shannon, she has always been there for me and she helped me through so much. I have so many amazing memories with her and she will always be in my heart. I love and miss her so much and I know one day I will see her again. Sue and Rose...I am blessed that I was able to be a part of Shannon's life and I am so glad that both of you are now in mine. shannon was the best person i've ever met. she & i were friends from day one and became closer each day spent together. i love shannon with all of my heart and i cannot begin to express my deepest sympothies to you, Sue & Rose.
I love you both, and I know Shannon was an extremely lucky girl to have people like you in her life to show her the love she deserved.
