CHERN STEVE J., age 76 years, a WWII Navy Vet, on Sept. 20, 2002 of N.E. Phila.; devoted husband of Rose (nee Pagano) Chern; loving father of Anthony J. Chern and his wife Donna, and the late Lucille Massaro and her husband Anthony; beloved grandfather of Anthony, and his wife Gina, Melanie, Brandon, Tonie-Alisha, Dietrich and Anthony Jr. and great grandfather of Gabrielle Rose; dear brother of Peter Cherr, Julie Lueter and Mary Kitlar. Relatives, friends are invited to his Viewing and Funeral Tues. 8 A.M. at L.A. DiGIACOMO INC. FUNERAL HOME, 1055 Southampton Rd., Phila., followed by Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. at St. Katherine of Siena Church, Frankford Ave. and Primose St., Phila. Ent.
