Craig Brown Obituary

Craig was a lifelong resident of the Owens Valley. He passed away surrounded by family March 8th in Las Vegas Nevada after a brief illness. Craig graduated Bishop high school in 1975. During his younger days he was part of the boxing club here in Bishop and played sports. His favorite was baseball. After graduation he went on to Fresno State College to play baseball for them.
Craig had worked for Mammoth Mountain ski patrol, was a Horseshoe Meadow Hotshot fighting fire all over the United States, he also worked at Union Carbide alongside many of his family members and friends.
During Craig's retirement years Craig enjoyed being the master of his domain. He took great pride in his yard and garden. He spent his days with his beloved German shepherds Kaiser, Nova, Dutch, and Jr. He enjoyed riding his horses with his wife and going to horse shows with her. He also loved hiking the mountains and gathering pine nuts.
Craig was our fierce protector our honest, funny, caring, and loyal husband, father, grandfather, Uncle, and friend.
Craig is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Ruth Brown, sisters Nancy and Virginia 'Pudge' Brown and his beloved eldest son Tyler Brown and many lifelong friends.
He is survived by his wife Gina, his son Sean Brown, grandson's Trevor Brown and Waylin Salas, his aunt Mary McCloud who held a special place in his heart, niece's Gertrude, Michelle, and Jaelyn Brown, nephews Gregory Iron, James Doll, Aaron, Andrew, Anthony, and Alex Brown, sister and brother-in-law Andrea and Micah Barlow. Along with numerous cousins.
A celebration of life will be at a later date.
