Al was born on July 2, 1938, to Leo and Lotus (Murphy) Keeler in Dearborn. After graduating from high school, Al pursued trade school and received a Millwright certificate. He worked for General Motors for 42 years, retiring in 2005.
He married Cindy Kincaid on June 22, 2002. He and Cindy spent the winters in Florida and the summers at his favorite place, Round Lake. Al loved sitting on his porch looking out over the water. Binoculars in hand he would bird watch as well as all the activity on the lake. He also enjoyed spending time with friends playing horseshoes, golfing and riding his Harley.
