My salute to the officer who most influenced my Army career! He was our "dashing" hero at UF - where he instructed cadets and sponsored the Gator Guard. Silver Start + Purple Heart. Armored Cavalry in Viet Nam. CW is my hero.

Another distinguished alumnus of Clemson University, American Patriot and a highly decorated Army soldier now rests in honored glory as God's newest Angel. While I did not have the honor of knowing CW, I have many friends in Kappa Delta Chi and did live in the KDX fraternity house one semester. In addition like CW I too served my country in the US Army and retired many decades ago. While many young men ran off to Canada, burned their draft cards and used every excuse imaginable to not serve, CW epitomized the American hero as he earned the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his selfless, heroic actions in the service of his country; not a small feat indeed. I am so honored to render a final salute for my military brother who gave his all for the betterment of our great nation. May God bless the life and sterling legacy of CW and may God's merciful hand guide each loved one and family member as they transcend this irreplaceable loss of life. "Duty-Honor-Country!" Britt,Todd and Andrea
I was saddened to hear of your father's passing. He was such a kind and caring man. When we first moved to Master's court in Riverside Gardens on July 4 1988. your family was the first to welcome our family to the Riverside Gardens neighborhood. Andrea, you quickly took Shannon and Kelly under your wing and became their friend introducing them to the Riverside pool and the amazing Tsunami Swim team. Your parents were amazing people who raised you well.
Your dad even forgave me for being an Ohio State fan. To this day there is probably only one school Clemson fans like less than Ohio State, that would be South Carolina. I think your Dad had some influence on Kelly deciding to go to Clemson and in turn me becoming a Clemson fan.
Sharon and I will keep you and your families in our prayers.
Your Mom and Dad are together again in heaven with Ryan watching over you and your families.
Peace be with you,
Curt Stoldt
