The Gately family has my deepest sympathy in this sad occasion. Edward isn't feeling any pain now as stated at Ecclesiastes 9:5&10. He is just resting.

To Cate, Dorsey and Stack, jr, I just mailed Cate a letter with pictures of all us when we were young in Rehobeth, DE. Our parents,Nelly and Frank Greene, were friends of your parents. Dad knew Stack from Loyola High School. We were just reminiscing with Dad about the old days and he has many humorous and heartfelt stories about your Dad. I am wishing your family my deepest condolences. Dad has Parkinson's and can't write anymore. He was profoundly saddened by the news of another one of his friends from the old days gone. It is particularly hard when the life that shined so bright continues to leave so many memories that bring on smiles and laughter at the many memories. All the best, Katy Greene (Davis)

Stack Gately was the real deal. They don't make many like that anymore. Rest in peace, friend.
