Webberville, Michigan - Kristen Mangum Schlicker of Webberville, Michigan passed away on April 6, 2023. Kristen was born on February 8, 1990, to Hobson J. Mangum "Jerry" and Katheryn Wark Mangum "Kathy" in Beaufort, South Carolina. She was 33 years old. She attended and graduated from Battery Creek High School in Beaufort, South Carolina. Kristen served in the Navy. She met and married Colin Schlicker of Webberville, Michigan. They have three children, Kristina, Cody, and Caiden.
Kristen was born and raised in Beaufort, South Carolina. She was a loving mother to her three children, a devoted wife, beloved daughter, faithful sister, and a cherished niece. Kristen was outgoing and did not meet a stranger. She enjoyed being involved in the children's extra activities, cheering for them during their sporting events and playing with them. She was an avid Clemson University Tiger fan and she enjoyed the rivalry between University of South Carlina family member fans.
Kristen was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Ronald I. Wark and her paternal grandparents Shirley Mangum and Ervin Mangum. She is survived by her brother, William Carriger
(Ellen), maternal grandmother, Dorothy Lewis, and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The family is so grateful that "Life gave us the gift of you."
Graveside service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery (611 Robert Smalls Parkway, Beaufort, SC 29906). The family would like to--invite everyone after the service to join them at the Carolina Tavern for fellowship.
