William Dolbeare Obituary

William "Wills" Dolbeare
January 22, 2004 - December 10, 2022
Hilton Head Island, South Carolina - DOLBEARE, William Robert. Our beloved Wills went to the Lord unexpectedly on Saturday, December 10, 2022. He will be missed by so many and remembered by many more. He is survived by his parents, Ken and Christine (nee' Brady); brother, Stewart; grandparents, Debbie and Bill Brady; grandfather, Robert Dolbeare; aunt and uncle, MaryAnne (nee' Dolbeare) and David Dunlap; cousins, Harper and Drew. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Billy Brady, and his paternal grandmother, Anne Dolbeare, who welcomed him into the presence of the Lord.
Wills was a freshman in the engineering program at Auburn University when he passed, but he had already made a tremendous impact on his friends and classmates in his short time in Alabama. He quickly made close friends and was a proud Tiger. He was a graduate of Hilton Head Christian Academy and cherished his HHCA friends, football teammates, coaches, and teachers. Together, they helped him grow into a strong, Christian young man who lived his life fully, laughed easily and loved his family, friends, and the Lord.
The family requests, when you think of Wills, live out the bible verse he chose for graduation from HHCA: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In allyour ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
In lieu of flowers or other remembrances, the family asks you to honor Wills by donating to his beloved Auburn University for an engineering scholarship set up in his name or to Hilton Head Christian Academy. Links to donate directly to either school are tax deductible and available on Wills' page of The Island Funeral Home website.
The family will hold a private interment at Six Oaks Cemetery on Friday, December 16, and will welcome all others to a celebration of life and reception at Hilton Head Christian Academy on December 28, 2022, at 3pm.

Wills was a great friend of mine and we spent many nights hanging out, grabbing late night dinners and laughing while playing Wii. He felt almost like a brother to me in our short time knowing eachother and truly brought out light in others. I am so sorry for your loss, but I know he will be welcomed in heaven.
