Jason Burbridge Obituary
1970 - 2025
Swampscott - Jason C. Burbridge, age 54, resident of Swampscott passed away on February 18th from complications due to cancer. Born in Lynn, he was the beloved son of Deborah E. (Gaudet) O'Connell and the late John C. Burbridge.
Jason graduated from Lynn English High School in 1988. Known for his kind heart and warm smile, Jason brought the gift of positivity to family and friends and left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the opportunity to know him.
Jason had a natural gift for conversation, effortlessly engaging anyone he met and leaving a lasting impression. He had a deep love for animals, including his beloved Tuukka and the late Zeus, and found joy in caring for them. Jason was a passionate supporter of Boston College Athletics and Boston professional sports teams which ultimately brought him great joy.
Jason is survived by his brother Sean P. O'Connell, his wife Jillian F. O'Connell and his nieces Charlotte, Maren, and Hannah of Concord; Dr. Mina Panayoutou of Chestnut Hill, Betsy Tenenbaum of North Andover and numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles. We will forever cherish the moments spent together. Those who knew Jason will remember his laughter and uplifting messages. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched and the memories he created along the way. Jason will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The kindness, compassion, and care shown to Jason and family by the MGH Boston and Salem Hospital staff was beyond compare. We would like to express our deepest gratitude and honor those that provided care. In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made online as a tribute at https://giving.massgeneral.org/ in his memory to support the Colon Cancer Research Fund at Mass General Hospital. Service Information: Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th at Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean Street, Lynn, MA from 2pm to 5pm followed by a prayer service at 5PM. We respectfully invite family and friends to attend. Online guestbook at www.Solimine.com.

Jason was my uncle and was always up for passing the lacrosse ball or throwing the football and was always wearing his Boston College hat which was the team he supported most. He will be forever missed and will always be in me and my family´s hearts.
