Donna Ella Hecker

12/19/1946 - 04/24/2023 Donna Ella Hecker from Rancho Cucamonga, California peacefully passed away on April 24, 2023. Originally born in Medina, New York to Roderick and Margaret Crafts (Lacey), she married then later moved to California at the age of twenty-two. Donna worked as a loan officer for various banks and title companies then owned and operated Cal-Sierra Machine where they designed and manufactured plastic extrusion and film recycling equipment for twenty-four years side by side with her husband, Bruce Hecker. She retired in 2009. Donna loved playing tennis, a good game of cards, Sea Doo's on the river, dancing, collecting dolls, creating or collecting various artwork, painting, sewing, quilting, helping out with various charities, a scenic car ride, traveling to new places, spending time with her grandkids, and always enjoyed a good cup of hot tea with her friends. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Hecker; two children, Todd Hecker and Tami Hecker-Escalera; four grandchildren, Alicia and Adam Hecker and Abigail and Lauren Escalera; and sister, Beatrice Zeiske (crafts). Services will be held on May 19, 2023, at Stone Funeral Home in Upland at 355 E. 9th, Upland, California 91786 at 2:00 pm.
