Manuel K. Castrejon

Manuel Kates Castrejon, 75, died September 27, 2006 at his Hesperia home. Born May 17, 1931 in Richgrove, CA, he was a lifetime resident of California, living 72 years in San Bernardino County. Mr. Castrejon worked for Kaiser Steel in Fontana for 30 years and California Steel, Fontana for 22 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Castrejon is survived by his wife, Tina Castrejon; sons, Manuel Castrejon, David Castrejon. Darryl Castrejon; daughters, Connie Freeman, Jeanne Santana, Eileen Flores, Rachel Castrejon, Monica Rios; 33 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from 10:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 4750 Challen Ave., Riverside. Directions to church: exit Frwy at Van Buren Blvd, go right and cross California Ave., next left is Challen. Graveside services, conducted by Rev. Bob Freeman, will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd, Staging Area #3, Riverside. Dudley Apple Valley Mortuary/ Sunset Hills entrusted with arrangements.
