Adrian,

You are a very special young boy. God gave you a special gift that everyone admired about you. I will try to not be saddened by your abscence, but grateful that you are in a heavenly place now. No more pain, no more agony. All I ask of you is to watch over my nina, nino, Mauro, Evey, Pita, Claudia, Tia Licha, and etc. Bless them with your love and guide them. You were such an inspiration to us all. Your power and endurance was indeed a beautiful quality about you. I will always keep in my heart the memories we shared together while we were kids. Indeed you were shy, but when you, Evey, Roni, and I were together, we were a handfull. You were always making us laugh with your jokes, magic tricks, recorder, and your simple smile. We had so many memories, that now when I think back, I am so grateful that I got to spend them with you. You always had a way to shine! We love you very much!

Dear Lupe & Mauro-

All of us at Imperial Valley Blood Services and the San Diego Blood Bank are deeply saddened by Adrian's passing. He was a special young man who fought his battle with grace and dignity. It was obvious that many people cared about Adrian by the number of people who gave blood in his name and were tested as possible bone marrow donors. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this most difficult time. He is at peace now and finally out of pain. Heaven must have needed a new angel.

I have never met your son or your family for that matter but all the same I am very sorry to hear of your loss. After reading about your son I decided to become a donor. I have a son that is one year younger than Adrian and I simply cannot even begin to imagine the pain of your loss.

Both of my children are also sorry to hear of Adrian's passing they pray that he was not in pain when he went to peace.

I offer you my condolences and my family will continue to pray for Adrian and your family.
