Anthony Rodriguez, 61 of Brawley passed away in El Centro Regional Medical Center on January 5, 2022.
Anthony attended IVC and became a certified mechanic. He worked for Toyota for 9 years in San Pedro, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Brawley. He later became a security officer and worked several events such as the Latin Grammys, the Pacquiao vs Bronner fight, and NFL games.
He was a man who held so much pride and love to his heart for his family and friends. He had an amazing sense of humor. He always had a way of making a bad situation better. He always had good advice about life, cars, movies, and music. He kept his life simple. A great time for him was watching Family Guy and the 70's show.
He always would say, "Don't sweat the small stuff and everything is small stuff."
He leaves behind his true love, Marielena Castro; daughter, Corina Rodriguez; sons, Angel Rodriguez and Anthony Rodriguez; 8 granddaughters and 1 grandson; 1 great-granddaughter; 4 sisters, Patricia A. Rodriguez (Cielo), Angela Maya, Juanita Martinez (Frank), Letticia Gonzalez (Reuben); brother, Albino M. Rodriguez (Felicia); mother, Lydia Rodriguez.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albino Rodriguez and brother, Joseph M. Rodriguez.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 3 pm at Frye Chapel in Brawley.
