Daniel C. Ochoa, 40, of El Centro passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014.
Daniel was born on January 18, 1974 in El Centro, CA. Daniel had a Masters in Business Administration and Health care. He was the Administrator for the Clinicas of Salud del Pueblo in El Centro and was involved in the Girl Scouts for the Imperial Valley. He enjoyed riding his Harley and making numerous friends. He was an active coach for girls softball and little league baseball. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, golf, and keeping in touch with friends and family by phone.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014 from 6 to 9 p.m at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro.
In lieu of flowers donations can be donated to the American Cancer Association of the Imperial Valley.

My buddy was laid to rest today and I was honored to meet a lot of his close friends and family, I feel good knowing that he was loved by everyone he ever met. May he rest in peace. I am here for any of his friends and family if needed. His Tucson Brother.

Our prayers for the Ochoa family at this time of sorrow and loss. My husband and I have such fond memories of Danny, Matt Amar, Paul Lopez and a slew of young girls gigglling as they all piled in to the Ochoa family car to drive to the "Baby Ball." There must have been at least 12 young boys and girls in that vehicle. Was that eve legal? May Danny rest in peace and may the family find solace in knowing how much Danny was loved by all who knew him.

I met Danny when he was really young starting his career in healthcare here in San Diego, he had not even started school yet but always knew he had so much promise. He was a tender heart and very sweet - he always talked about his family with great love. We are both from the Valley so we had that hometown fondness in common. And he always cared to stop by every so often to visit through the years when he was in the area. I appreciated him and cared for him like a little brother. I am deeply saddned by this great loss and send my condolences to the family.

Danny, what an amazing being you were; the brightest of lights, the biggest of hearts, and the most kindest and loving of beings-your presence brought so much to those who were privileged enough to know you. Your absence has magnified just how blessed we all were to have you in our lives. I love you forever and a day and I will miss you for just as long.
To the Ochoa family, my condolences to you all, and most of all to his parents whom he spoke of with so much love. You both were his life, his everything. I pray that God grant you the strength to see you through this tragedy.

Daniel I can't believe you're gone. They say only the good die young and in your case it's true. You were a wonderful friend and I will really miss you. Many lives were made so much better just by knowing you. God needed you and called you home. My sincere condolences to your family and friends. You will be missed every day.
