JESUS CAMPOS Obituary

Jesus Villalpando Campos, 74, of Salinas, CA passed away on June 17, 2021 due to a short battle with cancer in El Centro. Jesus "El Tio Chuy" worked throughout the state of California in agriculture for over 45 years, he came from San Juan De Los Lagos, Jalisco Mexico when he was just 21, he lived in Blythe for over 20 years, and then moved to Salinas, CA. He loved Norteno music especially Ramon Ayala y Los Relampagos, he loved to sing and knew the tune to every song, he was never married and had no children, but had many nieces and nephews that made up for it, he loved fancy watches and Stetson or Resistol hats. Towards the later years, he found his way back to Socal to reside with his niece Nancy/Armando and her family, who tried with everything they had to make Tio Chuy comfortable and happy. He was a big personality that will be greatly missed, but his spirit will remain in those who loved him as he was. The family would like to thank ECRMC, Dr. Zadeh/Abraham, Accent Home Health, Accent Care Hospice, and beautiful CNA Emma for their kindness and finest efforts during our trying times, they were true angels when we most needed one. Jesus was preceded in death by his parents, Maria De Jesus Campos Campos and Stanislaus Villalpando Cornejo. He is survived by his sister, Chuyita Carrillo of Calexico, Natalia Perez of Tijuana, Jose Villapando Of Yuma, Pascual Villalpando Of San Luis Mexico, Thank You Cayla, Richard, Sebastian, Armandito, Valentina and Penny for being wonderful to your Tio Chuy. Cremation Ceremony will be held in mid September.
