SHIRLEY BENTLEY Obituary
Shirley Elois Bentley, age 82, died at Heart and Hand Assisted Living in El Centro, CA on Tuesday June 29, 2021. She was born on May 16, 1939 in Lawton, OK. She was the attendance clerk at Central Union High School for many, many years. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in El Centro. She was always ready to go to the beach and enjoyed traveling with her family and friends. She also enjoyed window shopping and stopping for dessert and coffee. Shirley is survived by her two sons, Greg Bentley (Lynnda) and Lance Bentley; her sister Charlotte Terrill Seay (Earl); niece Sherry Terrill; her aunt Fern Barioni (Don); granddaughters, Samantha Wavra, Megan Ferronato, Deianira Wolfe, Erica Love and six great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Donald Bentley in 1994; brother-in-law Wayne Terrill in 2001 and nephew Michael Terrill in 1992. A graveside service will be on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery at 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers the family requests you make a donation to the charity of your choice. Shirleys family would like to thank the staff at Heart and Hand for their loving care.
