TONI BETH CHURCH (AMPARAN)
Aug. 3, 1965 - Jan. 6, 2010
Our beautiful and loving Toni left us to become another special family angel, when she died suddenly of a brain aneurysm on January 6, 2010.
Toni graduated from Central Union High School in 1983, where she was active in sports, especially softball. She was a long-time Costco employee here in the Valley.
She was preceded by her maternal grandmother, Bethel "Nana" Romero; her paternal grandmother, Mary Herrod; her biological father, Vascilio Amparan, and three year old cousin, Brianna Nero.
Those left behind to grieve and mourn include her soul mate, Robert Harris; daughters, Ashley, Hope, Diane and Amber; and granddaughter, Madison; mom and dad, Ruth and Johnny "Hammer" Sellers; brothers, Eddie (Trie) of Corona, CA, and Jonathan (Miriam) of Ontario, CA, Troy Sellers of El Centro, CA; aunts, Erli Romero-Crampton of Crescent City, CA, Lucille Britton of El Centro, CA and Mary and Alice Sellers of New Mexico; uncles, Juan Romero of El Centro, Dale Crampton of Crescent City, CA and Joe Bob, Howard, Lindsey, and Charles Sellers of New Mexico; cousins, John Romero III, Victoria Romero, and Marie Romero of Arizona, Carlos Madrid of San Diego, CA, Anthony Romero of El Centro, CA, Deanna (Felix Scott) Romero of Las Vegas, NV, Chrys Dural (Alton) of Santa Rosa, CA, and Eric Bernstrom of Washington, D.C.; former in-laws, Arlene and Larry Church of El Centro, CA and former husband, Damon Church of San Diego, CA. Toni had numerous nieces and nephews residing in CA, AZ, NM, and TX.
She was always one to say "I love you" to her daughters. We will miss her little girl voice and her child-like heart.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 15, 2010 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Hems Chapel, 1975 S. Fourth St., El Centro, CA. Interment will be at 11:30 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, El Centro, CA.

My Dearest Toni it´s been 10 years since you left us, time is suppose to make it easier but it´s still very hard that you aren´t here. Your babies are grown with babies of their own. I know you watch over them and see all the cute, interesting, and unbelievable things they say say and do. Went through another holiday without you and missed you more than ever. I know we will be together one day. Just know that I miss you and love you mucho. I put my eyebrows on early every day just in case you come and want to take me to lunch, remember. The other day Patrick and I were talking and all of a sudden I remembered one time when he and I came to El Centro-he and I got out of the car in front of Judy´s house. You must´ve just stepped out of the house because you exclaimed, "PATRICK!!!" and ran across the street to hug him. You were so happy to see him! That memory made us laugh together, so you see? Still bringing people happiness. Ache in the heart lessens, but you´re still in there. Missing you.

2020 - Our hearts continue to be broken, but the pain has lessened over these 10 years you've been gone. I see you, sometimes, in strangers I see across an isle, or sitting at a mall bench. But then I know you aren't really here, but taking care of us from above. You, Mi Mama, Brianna, and even Sonny will ensure we will be safe here, until we can all be together again. Your birthday makes me sad because you were too young to be called, too important to the family, and especially missing your daughters, and grand-daughters experiences in life. How I miss you!

Hi, Toni! It's the second day of Spring, and it's gonna be 87 degrees here. Lordy!! Remember when you came up from Centro to Santa Cruz for the summer after you graduated high school? You absolutely LOVED the weather, and were wondering how you'd be able to handle the heat when you got back home? Well, that's the way I've felt since I've been here. My Toni how I miss you. Another birthday on the 3rd without you. I think of you always, your girls remind me so much of you. I thank God for them cuz they are what has given me strength to continue and do all I want and need to do. I know you are watching over them and are totally proud of them. I remember how you would call me from work and say put your eyebrows on cuz we going to lunch. You were so bossy. Wish you were here to listen to you. My Dearest Toni yesterday was seven years since you left it was very hard for me to write. They say time heals a broken heart, but it hurts more now than when God took you from us. Only He knows why things happen the way they do. I miss you so much. I know you watch over your babies, Hope and Amber, I am so happy you always let them know how much you loved them, they have grown up so much and are so responsible, I am very proud of them. Well Toni your baby girl will be a married woman in a few hours. How I wish you were here for her. As you can see she has grown up to be a responsible, loving young woman. Hi Toni I guess you know that Sonny is gone to be with Nana. I feel that mi mama wrapped her arms around him and took him with her. She could see how unhappy he was and was not going to get better. I know he is happy and at peace with her and I know she loves him and is taking good care of him. Now all four of you are together, you, mi mama, Brianna and Sonny and all four of you are taking care of the rest of us. I love you so much and miss you. mommy its been 2 years since you left and every single day i think of you. I sometimes have dreams of you that your here and im hugging you again and it feels so real! You are the best mother anyone could have, you are the reason who i am today and i love who am. You raised me hope diane and ashley the right way.
