I'm so sorry for your loss, but I want you to know I always remember your dad as such a nice and loving dad. I wish I'd had a dad like him.
I remember going to your house, and your mom and dad would be in the little trailer playing cards. I love you, Sandra, always did, always will. I miss you very dearly, and extend my love and best wishes to you and your family.

Mr. Hickey was my first boss (at Sears) over 20 years ago, and the best--he instilled the work ethic I took to every job since: "Stay busy!" he would say, and, "When there's nothing to do, grab a rag and start cleaning!" He was a gentle man and always funny. He stood by us kids when customers (or other managers!) got irrate. He will be missed by all who knew him.
