Rev. Dr. Arthur L. David

Service for Rev. Dr. Arthur L. David will be 12 noon, Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Lane College Gymnasium. He will lie-in-state at the College from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment Cloverdale Cemetery in Milan, TN.

Rev. Dr. David transitioned Friday, February 1, 2013.

Visitation and Family Hour will be Monday, February 4, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. at Phillips Chapel CME Church, Milan, TN.

The family respectfully ask that in lieu of flowers please make contributions to Lane College Alumni Chapter Authur L. David Scholarship or Grandson Bryan Keith Womack II College Fund Assistance.

Dr. David was a giant among men, preachers, and leaders. His spirit lives on in all of us that he touched through our tenure at Lane College, or the CME Church. He will be truly missed, and they don't make them like Dr. Arthur L. David anymore.

Mrs. David,
Willie and I were sad to hear of Dr. David's passing. He was one of our favorite professors at Lane, who positively influenced our lives. I always looked forward to attending Dr. David's classes and remember being mesmerized by his teaching and preaching. I thank God for the wonderful memories we have of him.
