Emma Jane Roe Barnett

Graveside services for Emma Jane Roe Burnett 97 will be Saturday August 5 2006 at 11:00 A.M. in Rose Hill Cemetery with the Reverend Larry Riley officiating. She died peacefully in her sleep Monday night July 31 2006 at the Humboldt Manor Nursing Facility where she had been a resident for a year and a half. Preceding her in death was her husband Grady Barnett and her son John Barnett. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Humboldt. In 1994 she was the recipient of the Humboldt Exchange Club's Book of Golden Deeds for helping others with no thought of reward or recognition. Survivors include a daughter-in-law Carolyn Barnett of Humboldt; two grandsons Steve Barnett Martha of Proctorville OH and Mike Barnett Jill of Dallas TX; three great-grandchildren John and Chris Barnett of Proctorville OH and Carley Barnett of Dallas TX; a great-niece Peggy VanNocker of Walnut Creek CA.
