My thoughts are with your family as you adjust to the loss of your mother, friend, grandmother and bridge player. She was always friendly, smiling and such a generous woman to all. You will miss her always but have the memories to treasure.

Mrs. Bottomly, I loved growing up next door to you. You always made me feel like the most special little girl on the block. You always had special Halloween treats for me and me play with the precious tin soldiers in the attic. You were one of the sweetest and kindest women Ive ever known. Thank you for touching my life.

There are some people who just light up a day! I remember even as an elementary school child how Mrs. Bottomley's laugh was infectious and made me feel so good! I have lovely memories of this lady.

Our family was privileged to be a part of her life. She loved our 3 children well and gave all of us many opportunities we would never have experienced . Her kind, generous and fun loving ways will be remembered and missed by everyone who knew her.

Fran Bottomley was such a kind and friendly lady. Having grown up with her daughter Marilynn, she had a great influence on me. Always welcomed to be in their home. She always found humor in her life and was devoted to her family.
As she lived such a long life, she outlived many of her friends. Her family was involved in our community for many generations. Her loyalty to Purdue and sports was enjoyed by her family and friends
Happily her grandchildren have known their grandmother through adulthood. She will be missed.

Deepest sympathy to all of Frances' family. Marilynn, I will always remember her coming to the stable and hearing her call "Mar..i..lynn!" as she walked through the door. She was a fun, energetic lady who will be missed. She will be with you, Jim, her family and friends in your hearts. With love, Sandy
