Rest in peace Gary L. Britton.... We may have not gotten along sometimes but we were always there to help each other out. I wish I could have gotten there a little faster that night to save you, or if I would have known your pain was so severe when you called me I would have called 911 instead of just agreeing to take you to the hospital but there was no pain or suffering in your voice when you called and asked me to take you to the hospital. Please watch over mom and comfort her, your passing hasn't completely hit her yet, she cries sometimes but she has not broken down and let herself cry to long but I know it is coming and I know you will be there for her as you always have been.

Funny how you get used to someone always being there and only realize after they are gone how much they were a part of your life. We weren't close friends Gary but your presence was always felt and appreciated. Thank you for everything, we are all a little better having known you and what you leave behind are great memories.
You've left a big hole in our community where your friendship, wit, knowledge and willingness to help will be sorely missed.
I'm happy to know you were recognized with the MVP award, the top achievement, which you earned and deserved for all you have done at our forum community.

Rest in Peace Gary.

I am so sorry Pam.
God has another Angel , we hope to see again one day
Gary was a wonderful man in so many ways.A rare person. He had a very special qualitys, among so many. Too many to list. But most importantly no one could ever accuse Gary of lieing to them. You may not always liked Garys opnion, but he gave it honestly.
Gary was a special man for so many reasons.
He had a big heart. Too big sometimes.
He jumped right in and became the grandfather our children didnt have. Not his job but he took the time to care and tossing a ball with a little girl was enjoyment not a bother.
He was our so very good friend.
I/we will never forget him.
I am so sorry for you loss, your familys and the worlds.
Gary did leave this world a better place for beiing a part of it.
Till we meet again Gary.

"Death is nothing,
I have simply crossed over to the other side.
I am me,
you are you.
What we were for each other, we are still.
Give me the name you have always given me.
Speak to me like you have always done.
Don't use a different tone,
Don't be solemn or sad.
Keep laughing at what made us laugh together...
Smile. Think of me, smile with me.
Say my name at home,
like it has always been said,
without any empashis at all,
without traces of shadow.
Life signifies what it has always signified.
It is what it has always been:
the cord is not cut.
Why should I be out of your thoughts,
just because I am out of your sight?
I am not far.
Just on the other side of the road.
You see? All is well.
You will find my heart again."
