Karl and family,
Thinking of you in this time of great loss to you. I met Jim in the mid 70s. A very hard working man holding down two jobs. Plumbing when he could and at Lilly. Fun guy to work with.
Hope you remember those times he made us smile like I have been.

Betty,
I just want to express our sorrows at the passing of Jim. I have known Jim for a lifetime and the things I remember are the long evening we both spent working after hours as he would be installing the plumbing and I the electrical on apartment projects. His work was always top notch. But thing I like to remember the most are the many times we played softball against each other. He was a good player who was both a gracious loser and humble winner. May God give you strength in this time of grieving. Keep his memories alive as you continue on.
Respectfully John Brand

Jim was a great and extremely polite person in any circumstance one would interact with him. Knew him as a peer at Lilly and later he did the plumbing in our home, to say it was anything less than stellar was an understatement, he prided himself on his work and I have never seen anyone better, a true professional. My sympathies to his family in this very tough time.
