Jesse Snider Obituary
Jesse W. Snider, 33, formally of Lafayette, died March 20, 2014 in Clearlake, CA.
He was born to H. Duane and Lori (Hemke) Snider, June 21, 1980, in Lafayette, IN. Jesse was a 1998 graduate of McCutcheon High School. He was previously married to Jessica Corwin and she survives.
Jesse served in the US Army and was proud to be a member of the Armed Forces. After his discharge, he worked for the US Post Office. He was also a member of the Greater Beneficial Union of Pittsburgh German Club.
Jesse never met a stranger; he was a kind man and was loved by many. He enjoyed spending time with his family and hanging out with his friends. He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, collecting guns, camping and being on the water.
Along with his parents, Jesse is survived by 2 brothers: Jake Snider and Jared Snider both of Lafayette. Grandparents: Harry & Carol Snider of Colburn, IN, and Coy & Linda Lane of Stockwell, IN. Uncle: Todd Hemke of Lafayette. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jesse is preceded in death by his grandparents Gerhard & Alma Hemke.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family asks that memorial contributions for Jesse be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.woundedwarriorproject.org
J Pope Unlimited is assisting the family.

Well the only thing i have to say is that god promises us 75 years or more.. Jesse was such a good guy that he was taken to early cause god wanted another awesome freaking angle. I cant count how many rockin times i had with him.. He was there for me since day one and always will be for me. Rest easy Jesse! <3

To the entire Snider family--- I am very sorry for your loss. I am very shocked and saddened to hear of this. Jesse was a great guy who I met through the German Club (GBU). I used to bartend with Duane for all the big GBU dances. He is with The Lord now. My sincerest condolences.

I don't know how to express what an incredible loss this is to my husband and I. Jesse has been his friend since kindergarten. But he was more than that to us, he was family. Every memory I look back on for the last 14 years, Jesse was usually right there. May he now find the peace, that he could not find on Earth. You will be greatly missed.

Such a tragedy! Jesse was one of those guys in school anyone and everyone could talk to. Wicked smart, determined, and really seemed to have alot on the ball. So sad to learn of his passing today. Rest in Peace, Jesse. It's a crime I didn't know you any better than just a classmate.

Jesse has been my best friend since the first day of kindergarten. I can't count the memories I have with him. Sunrise to sunset in the woods when we were growing up is where most of them appear. I cannot explain the loss I feel.

Jesse had such a positive effect on everyone he met. He was like a big brother to us all. That smile will stick with me forever most likely. When I think of Jesse, I hear his laugh the most. I'm quite sure Alma is up there showing him the ropes. My favorite memory of him is one time when he was at our house and we had a big rain and I found my boys and him swimming in a big mud hole.

All of Jesse's family and friends will be in my continued prayers. I have known Jesse my whole life and he was truly one in a million. As young kids we talked about what it would be like to be in a war, all the guns we wanted to buy and all the girls we liked. Nothing but good memories. Godspeed, my friend- you will be missed.
