Clinton Smith Obituary
He was born on May 31, 1959 in Lafayette to John H. and Terry K. (Tucker) Smith.
Kelly graduated from McCutcheon High School in 1978 and then graduated from Lafayette Beauty School.
He worked as a cosmetologist until 2004 when he began creating beautiful stained glass projects up until his retirement. Kelly developed his own stained glass technique rather than use the traditional foil and soldering method.
Surviving are his sister, Claudia "Kim" Banes of West Point, IN; his nephews, Michael (Michelle) Lawson of Fowler, IN and Jesse Lee (Breanna) Smith of Temecula, CA; and his great niece and nephews, Draco & Samantha Lawson and Thomas Riley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charlie "Kirby" Smith.
A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in West Point Cemetery.
