Though I only first met Ed in 2007, I will have lifelong memories of time that I was fortunate to have spent with him. I will never forget the morning he took me fishing for Spanish mackerel out in the inlet or him showing me his shrimp boat tied up behind Jimmy's. I still remember calling him one day and he was on his annual pheasant hunting trip. They had driven straight through to Nebraska or some place like that. I do remember Ed finally having to take Patti on a NE Bed and Breakfast tour to make up for all the missed Thanksgiving meals. There are few people who knew the White Oak River better than Ed. I think he even spent a night stuck on it when a net got tangled in his prop. I also remember the shrimp haul he got a few years ago. I think there were 300 lbs of shrimp in the net and he had to go to Jimmy's to lift the net out of the water. Ed will be missed by so many and fondly remembered by all.
