Mark Heath

EDGEWOOD - Mark W. Heath, 57, of Edgwood, Ill., formerly rural Neoga, Ill., passed away Monday, May 14, 2012, at the St. Anthony Memorial Hospital of Effingham, Ill.
Mark was born September 16, 1954, in Mattoon, Ill., the son of Loyal and V. Louise (Elliott) Heath. He married Nancy Helm February 12, 1983 in Mattoon, Ill.
He was the owner and operator of H & H Lawn Care of Edgewood, Illinois, and he was previously employed by Trailmobile in Charleston, Ill., for 20 years. Mark served in the Illinois National Guard for 12 years. He was a member and Deacon of the Effingham Assembly Church in Effingham, Ill., The Modern Woodmen of America and the N.R.A.
Mike leaves his wife Nancy Heath of Edgewood, Ill.; three daughters, Sara Nichols and husband Anson of Fishers, Ind., Crystal Stice and husband Paul of Edgewood, Ill., and Dawn Chapman and husband Ryan of Fairfield, Ill.; his mother, V. Louise Heath of Mattoon, Ill.; one brother, Mike Heath and wife Kathy of Rural Neoga, Ill.; three sisters, Rebecca Doss and husband Wallace of Mattoon, Ill., Miriam St. John and husband Larry of Paris, Ill., and Martha Rittmiller and husband Bruce of Wichata, Kansas; three grandchildren, Justin and David Nichols and Oliver Stice. Mark was preceded in death by his father; Loyal Heath.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at the Effingham Assembly Church, 3200 S. Banker in Effingham, Ill., with Pastor Don Wallace officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at the Effingham Assembly Church in Effingham, IL. Burial will be in the Janesville Cemetery in Janesville, Ill. The Swengel-O'Dell Funeral Home of Neoga, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
