Grace Watts

1939 - 2024

Grace Irene Watts, 85, of Trumann departed this life Sunday, December 22, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Place in Jonesboro. She was born in Plantersville, AR to the late William A and Artie Ethel Lemmons Higgins and lived in Trumann for 40 years and formerly of Monticello, AR. Grace owned and operated an upholstery Shop for years and was a member of Freer Southern Baptist Church. She loved fishing and going to church and doing seamstress work. She was preceded in death by one son, Jonathan Smith and her parents. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Watts of Trumann; three daughters, Cindy (Michael)Criner of Harrisburg, AR, Vicky Smith of Judsonia, AR and Valarie Wolff of Jacksonville, AR; four sons; Robby Watts Winchester, TN, Jason Watts of Trumann, AR, Luther Smith of Monticello and John Smith of Warren, AR; three brothers, Jerry Higgins of Monticello, AR, Fred Higgins of Delhi, LA and Clay Higgins of New Jersey; two sisters, Iris Bush of Judsonia, AR and Mary Loyd of Monticello, AR; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 to 1:00 at Freer Baptist Church in Trumann. Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 P.M. at the church. Burial will follow at Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg, AR., under the care of Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann. An online register book can be signed at www.thompsonfuneralhome.net.
