Stella Terry Obituary

Stella B. Terry, 102, of Jonesboro, formerly of Belleville, Arkansas, passed from this life on July 26, 2025, at St. Elizabeth's Nursing Center. She was born in Onyx, Arkansas, in Yell County on May 7, 1923, to Rice and Margaret Yates. She was a military wife and will be interred with her husband, the late Leonard, S. Terry, at Fort Smith National Cemetery on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Stella enjoyed quilting and gardening and was considered a top-notch cook. Everybody raved about her fried pies. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Densmore. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth McLaughlin of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Teresa, Alicia, Chris, Kelly, and Cameron; great grandchildren, Ava, Seth, Sean, Avery, Naomi, Stella, Daniel, Irie, and Emma.
