HONOLULU - Vincent "Gus" Doescher, 65, passed away on May 15, 2025, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Born on Dec. 6, 1959, Gus lived a life marked by adventure and a deep appreciation for music.
Gus was known among those who knew him for his love of playing the harmonica and his passion for skydiving, two pursuits that reflected both his creative spirit and fearless nature. Whether soaring through the skies or filling a room with music, he embraced life with energy and enthusiasm.
He is lovingly remembered by his siblings: brother, Rob Boward and his wife Paula of Arkansas; sister, Teresa Wofford of Okla.; brother, Jackson Wofford and his wife Pamela of Alaska; brother, John Wofford and his wife Laura of S.D.; sisters, Rebecca Doescher and Bethany Doescher of Hawaii; and sister Morgan Hawk of Italy. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will carry forward memories of their uncle.
Gus was preceded in death by his mother, Dianna Wofford Nading, his father, Eric Doescher and first wife, Jill Wixson Doescher. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
