JONESBORO - Mark Hamilton Maddox, 54, of Jonesboro, passed from this life on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022. He was born April 6, 1968, in Jonesboro to Brenda and the late Jimmy Dan Maddox.
He graduated from Jonesboro High School and attended Arkansas State University. Mark was a businessman, spending his spare time playing Frisbee, piano and even writing a children's book. He was a very selfless person.
In addition to his father, Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Woodrow and Earlene Dollins and Dr. Alfred H. and Ernie Maddox.
Survivors include his mother, Brenda Maddox of Jonesboro; a brother, Timothy Maddox (Cyndi) of Fayetteville; one aunt, Karolyn Dollins Gregory of Paragould; and many cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 p.m. Wednesday at St. Timothy's Anglican Church, 410 W. Highland Drive, Jonesboro 72401. A memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Tom McGee officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Timothy Maddox, Johnny Allen, David Dantzler, Richie Harrell, Calvin Petty, Jewell Williams, Lee Holmes, Rand Wisdom and Rod Hannah.

Mark you were like a brother . You will never be forgotten.It´s like missing piece to a puzzle here since you´ve gone. You were always getting people with a smile and you will remain as my best friend. Can´t no one replace the friend I had with you. Gonna miss you brother. RIP my friend. Never Goodbye. Brenda- sad- just saw where you had lost Mark and did not know that you had lost JD as well-praying for your healing as well as your family--I also lost my husband March 18 th this year-we miss them dearly but would be selfish to wish them back from Heaven holds
