JONESBORO - Patsy Ann McCrackin Lewis, 80, of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Trumann on Aug. 13, 1943, to Jewell and Lois McCrackin.
Patsy was of the Baptist faith and grew up in the Baptist churches where her father ministered. She loved music and singing in the church choir. Patsy graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1961 and afterward, began her career in the banking industry.
A fan of football, Patsy's favorite team was the Dallas Cowboys. But above all else, Patsy loved her family.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Doyle Lewis, and special son, Chad Lewis.
Patsy is survived by her brothers, Bob (Betty) McCrackin of Springdale and Van (Gail) McCrackin of Sherwood; nieces and nephews, Cristi (Chad) Wolf, Reed (Rhonda) McCrackin, Scarlett McCrackin, Ryan McCrackin, Chase McCrackin, Ben McCrackin and Logan McCrackin; and several great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Philadelphia Cemetery with Brother Jerry Jolly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the ASU Foundation, Inc., 2626 Alumni Blvd., P.O. Box 1990, State University, AR 72467, memo: Chad Lewis Memorial.
