Darrell was one of a kind. From the day I met him, we were instant buddies. It has always been evident to anyone's life that he touched, how special and strong he was. Strong, caring and a funny sense of humor will always be the redeeming qualities he shared with everyone he knew. Years have come and gone since we got to see each other, but getting to see him the last time at our 30th class reunion was extraordinarily special! That big smile and strong hug he gave me when we saw each other is something I still hold on to. Having the opportunity to have Darrell in my life made me a better person. It always reminded me to stop and be kind to one another, and remember to love everyone for whom they are. I am truly blessed to have known sweet Darrell.
I have posted a picture of us at our 30th class reunion. Please tale a moment and reflect what a great smile he had.
Darrell will be missed, but never forgotten.
