Beverly I. Rauschenbach, of Enfield, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the age of 91, at All American Assisted Living in Enfield with her family by her side.
Beverly was born on March 29, 1933, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to the late Cozmos and Irene (Supernant) Mendoluski. In 1952, she made Enfield her home, where she built a life filled with love, joy, and service to others. Beverly was a dedicated employee of ABB for over 20 years before embracing retirement.
A devout parishioner of St. Bernard's Church in Enfield, Beverly found solace and strength in her faith. She was an active member of the Enfield Senior Center, had a passion for travel, a love for history, and was an avid reader and literacy volunteer, enriching the lives of those around her with knowledge and compassion.
Above all else, Beverly cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Beverly was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Rauschenbach, her second husband, Edmund Wild, her son, Michael Rauschenbach, and her sister, Janice Sedor. She is survived by her children, Eric Rauschenbach and his wife Julie, and Kim Cherpak and her husband Ken. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, sisters, Barbara Dunn, Susan Mitkus, and Sandy Golden, as well as stepchildren, Jean Wild, Stephanie Jubrey, Shirley Wild, Tony Wild and his wife Teresa, Andrea Pratt and her husband Theareon, and Clayton Wild and his wife Renee, along with many nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to gather on Monday, April 29, from 5-7 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, located at 61 South Rd., Enfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Church in Enfield (PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT THE CHURCH). Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Enfield.
