Carole Mary Rauschenbach, a vibrant and loving soul, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on January 20, 1936, in Flushing, NY, Carole lived a rich and fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many.

Carole's journey began in the bustling city of New York, where she worked as a key punch operator at IBM in the 1950s. However, her true passion blossomed when she became a devoted homemaker after welcoming her beloved son, Robert, into the world. Carole embraced her role wholeheartedly, cherishing every moment of motherhood and the joys of family life.

In addition to managing her household, Carole made a significant impact in her community as a teacher's aide for many years, where she shared her warmth and enthusiasm with countless children. She was also an active member of St. Pancras Church, serving as a den mother for Pack 83 in the Cub Scouts, guiding young boys with love and encouragement.

Carole had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life, finding joy in cooking and gardening. She maintained a close circle of friends from grammar school, creating lifelong bonds filled with laughter and support. Carole also enjoyed traveling with her husband, Otto, whom she was married to for 27 wonderful years until his passing. Their adventures together created lasting memories that will be treasured forever.

Carole is survived by her beloved son, Robert Rauschenbach, her caring in-laws, Margaret (John) Hulst, Helmuth (Penny) Rauschenbach and her cousins Andre (Rose) Delcroix. The love and influence of Carole’s life will continue to resonate through her family and friends. Carole was preceded in death by her cherished husband Otto Rauschenbach and her parents: Edward Braun and Margarite Bovick.

In celebration of Carole’s life, a Mass will be held at St. Pancras Church on November 15, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., where all are invited to join in honoring her legacy.

As we remember Carole Mary Rauschenbach, let us gather to celebrate her remarkable life, the love she shared, and the indelible mark she has left on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
