Deborah Schools Obituary

Deborah J. (Ellis) Schools, 44, of Enfield, beloved wife of 24 years to Kevin J. Schools, entered into eternal peace on Tues. Feb. 27, 2007, in Enfield.

She was born on Feb. 21, 1963, in Hartford to Terrance Ellis and Elizabeth (Godeck) Ellis and had resided in Enfield for the past 20 years. Debbie was a graduate of the South Windsor High School Class of 1981. She was very dedicated and devoted to her family as a wife, mother, sister, and friend. Debbie loved scrapbooking and making her own greeting cards. She was very involved with Riley's Dance Studio, enjoyed spending time at the campground, and sharing memories with her many friends and family.

Besides her husband, Kevin, and parents she is survived by her loving family; a son, Jason Schools of Enfield, two daughters, Danielle Schools of Manchester and Kelsey Schools of Enfield, her mother-in-law; her maternal grandparents, Philip and Elizabeth Godeck, Sr.; her stepmother, Judy Ellis; two sisters, Cynthia Duprey and her husband, Mark, of Woodstock, Ga., and Dee Buttimer of South Windsor. She also leaves her mother-in law Jacqueline Fairhurst and husband Lynton A. Fairhurst Sr. of Hudson Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law; Jeffrey and Lucy Schools, Brett and Renee Schools, all of Enfield; and Tammy and Lynton J. Fairhurst of Fla., along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by a cousin, Linda Godeck Rizzo.

Friends and relatives may gather on Sun. Mar. 4, 2007, from 2 to 5 p.m. at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, with a memorial service immediately following. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Enfield Federal Savings Bank: Kelsey Schools Scholarship Fund 855 Enfield Street Enfield, CT 06082.
