Joseph T Faulkner
February 25, 1958 - January 18 2025
Joseph T. Faulkner, of Bolton, CT, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2025, at home, surrounded by family after a brief battle with Glioblastoma, at the age of 66. Born on February 25, 1958, in Houlton Maine, Joseph led a life marked by a deep passion for the outdoors, particularly hunting and fishing, through which he found great joy and peace and many lifelong friendships.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Yolande Faulkner; his mother, Joan Faulkner; daughters, Danielle Golding (Derek) of Weston, Maine, and Lauren Faulkner (John) of Ashford; stepchildren, Cherie Manna (David) of Rocky Hill and Robert Berthiaume (Kristen)of Ellington; a brother, James Faulkner (Pat) of Vernon; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, cousins, and close friends who will miss him dearly. His life was previously touched by the loss of his son, Kyle Faulkner; his father, John Faulkner Sr.; a sister; four brothers; a niece, and a nephew. Joseph took much pride in his work at Hartford Trade Service as a crematory operator, and leaves behind his loving work family, whom he adored as well.
A private service will be held to honor Joseph's life. His love for the outdoors will be remembered by those who knew him as a testament to his character as a man who cherished nature and the simple pleasures it offers. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and all who knew him.
The family would like to thank all who cared for Joe at Hartford Health Care's Helen & Harry Gray Cancer Center, and the amazing nursing staff of Visiting Nurses & Health Services of Connecticut, Vernon, Specifically our angel in scrubs, Erin.

Jim, Pat and Heather and Que,

We are so very sorry for yet another loss within the family. We all go back many many years. Joe embraced those long ago visits with his siblings here in New York. They hunted and/ or fished , ending the day enjoying a few beers and conversation at Seebers Tavern.
Joe loved those times in N.Y. With his family and many N.Y. Friends.

Many happy memories have been shared with Joe including living with him while awaiting the birth of his first daughter, fishing on the cape and where ever we could get a pole in the water Joe served as an usher at our wedding and worked with us many a night skinning deer and cutting game. He was a fun guy and always had a joke to share and an infectious smile. Rest in peace my friend and enjoy the time with Brian whom will be glad you have joined him. My deepest condolences to your family and friends. Xoxo

From the 1st moment my wife, his daughter Lauren, introduced me to Joe he always treated me as family and was there to listen whenever something in life needed attention. Joe always had the most uplifting chuckle that accompanied
his quick witted and funny responses and was a master of the sneaky rib poke as he would walk past me and others! Joe you will be missed immensely by myself, Lauren, Cayden, Aubree and so many others that were lucky enough to be blessed by your acquaintance and presence. I will forever have memories and words of wisdom received by you that will never be forgotten. Rest easy my friend.
