Robert Lewis Obituary
Lewis, Robert J. (91) - Manchester, CT. Loving husband of Jessie (Black) Lewis died on April 21, 2025. Born on Christmas on December 25, 1933 in Lewiston, ME, son of Hazel Lewis, Bob moved to Connecticut in the 1950s. He worked at Emhart Glass for 42 years retiring in 1998. Bob was a member of Saint James, Saint Teresa of Calcutta Parish. A member of the American Legion (Sons of American Legion Riders). Bob enjoyed bowling , square dancing competition with South Windsor Dance Club, AFMA and riding his motorcycle around Connecticut along with his wife Jessie. Along with his wife, Bob is survived by his two sons, Mark Lewis and David with wife Denise Lewis both of Manchester, grandchildren Hailee (15), Joseph (13), Audrey (11), Sophia (11), and Abigail (10).
The family will invite visitors to Calling hours on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. at Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home, 400 Main St., Manchester, CT. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Church, 896 Main Street, Manchester, CT on Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Burial at St. James Cemetery will follow immediately after the Mass.
