Sarah Simmons Obituary

Sarah Simmons, 65, passed away peacefully on Jan. 11, 2021, at Riverside Health and Rehab with her beloved sister by her side.

Sarah was born Dec. 29, 1955, in Manchester. Sarah had worked for both Pastori's & Holiday Restaurant's in Ellington with her friendly personality. She more recently worked as a cashier for Ocean State Job Lot where again her humorous energy gained her employee of the month numerous times. Sarah enjoyed crafting, gardening and loved her dogs. Her loving, giving manner will be greatly missed by many family and friends. "May she rest in peace and look upon knowing the love that was shared for her."

She is survived by her sister MaryAnn Lamarca of Manchester; a nephew Eric McMullan; and a special friend Krissy Dewhurst Anderson

Family and friends are invited on Thursday, Jan. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. to the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center St. Manchester, with a funeral home service at 5:30 p.m.
