Steven Karlowicz Obituary
Born in Hartford on Aug. 27, 1984, he is survived by his mother, Karyn Maviano; his grandparents, Roland and Paula Nielsen; his uncles and aunts, Ron and Carolyn Nielsen and Rene and Darlene Nielsen; his cousins, Kevin, Keith, Allison, and Eddie; along with his best friend Cali, aka Spike.
Steven was an amazing son. He had a zest for life and he loved the outdoors, including biking and snowmobiling, along with many other outdoor activities with his family and friends.
Family and friends of his mother are invited to attend a celebration of his life Saturday, April 11, 2015. Calling hours are 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a brief service at Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road, Vernon, CT 06066.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to USO.

It's always sad to lose a young-an, As an elder, you feel not only sad, but also angry that your youngster passed before you. Anger is part of the greiving process.
