To the Bicksler family, My regrets to hear of Russ's passing. (Fred Wagner in Cedarville keeps me informed.)
As a youngster I have many fond memories of Russ. He had cats trained in the barn to set up on their hind legs and catch a squirt of milk direct from the cow. Always thought that was pretty cool. We baled up a gopher once and he was still alive packed in the bale. Russ dug him out and took him to the fence row where he would be safe. He was very respectful of life.
He would say to the boys, "OK girls lets get goin." Boy did that make Jack mad. :)
Ride easy Russ. You lived a good life.
