SANDRA 'SANDY' DIANE (MOYER) DYSON, 67 ORANGEVILLE - Sandra "Sandy" Diane (Moyer) Dyson, 67, of Orangeville, died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born Nov. 18, 1946, in Freeport, IL, the daughter of William and Anna May (Klontz) Moyer. She married Larry Dyson on April 17, 1965, in Freeport, IL. Sandy was a homemaker and housewife. Family was a very important part of her life especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola, Hershey, and Matchbox items, going to tractor pulls, and following NASCAR. Sandy is survived by her husband, Larry Dyson of Orangeville, IL; two sons, Richard (Janet) Dyson of Orangeville, IL, and "her favorite" Ryan (Sheri) Dyson of Freeport, IL; three daughters, Brenda (Rick) Wishard of Davis, IL, Bonnie (Dale Apfel) Dyson of Janesville, WI, and Betsy (Darrell) Jones of Freeport, IL; one brother, William Gary Moyer of Shannon, IL; and seven grandchildren, Kyle Dyson, Kayla Dyson, Cassidy Challenger, Morgan Wishard, Kendall Apfel, Brenden Lewis, and Christopher Zissler. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson Dalton. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at The Chapel of Peace in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, with Rev Scott Naevestad officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 8, 2014, at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory.
